According to the April 2008 issue of the Harvard Health Letter, researchers have found and described how seven common conditions can be managed without the use of medication. They explain that in many cases, "the nonpharmacological approach can do as much or more than pills." Check out this article to see if you or someone you know falls into one of these categories.

They need to be careful listing Diabetes here, it needs to say Type 2 Diabetes. I am Type 1 so my body doesn't make insulin at all, so that is what is needed for me to live. There are no pills I take, however, but I know there are some Type 2 Diabetics who take them and exercise does help instead of the pills. I know this blog is against most things medicine, but in my case I have to have insulin all day everyday and I wish I didn't have to rely on that. But for those who do have type 2, it can be mostly controlled with diet and exercise because their bodies still make insulin, it just has a hard time absorbing it properly. Sorry to go off on this, I know this post wasn't just about Diabetes...
Good point. Thanks for sharing!!! :)
